Hi hi —

How are you !!! The sun has been shining in the UK these past few days and it’s giving me LYFFFF 🌞 all a girl needs is some sunshine and grass, truly.

This weekend I went away with some of my bestest pals — we went to school together and have known each other since we were kids. It was such a wholesome and FUNNY weekend, we’re always so silly together and it fills my heart and soul with so much joy. Pls enjoy some pics of us in our yurt on an alpaca farm and riding our bikes around Soho Farmhouse loving life (we could only afford one glass of wine but was defo worth it).

A few weeks ago I released ‘always been u’, my little angsty grungy baby. I’ve been doing some press here and there, and talking about the song has reminded me of the process of its conception. I wrote it alone on my guitar in my bedroom during what was a very shitty time (boys are the worst). I produced a demo but abandoned it for a few months because I didn’t know if it was good enough or whether it even fitted into the world I was creating. I mean, my debut EP is basically dance/electro pop through and through, and this felt pretty far away from that… However, it was one of those songs I kept coming back to, and when I eventually showed Luke, he was like, we MUST finish this song. And thank fuck he believed in it !!!! The response has been amazing so far and I even got my first Spotify editorial playlist 🥹 perhaps not a major deal to most, but every win is a WIN, and Lorde knows we need those in this crazy industry lol.

This week I also announced that I am playing my first show in Brighton in what has felt like FOREVER!! I am so excited to be joining the Discover Live lineup on its first ever tour, and eternally grateful to Jodie for her continued support and relentless championing of independent music. I’ll be performing at the Hope and Ruin on 13th May and tickets are on sale now!!

I have sooooooo much more music coming this year and honestly cannot wait to show you :) in the meantime, I updated my June’s Tunes playlist ˖ ࣪⭑♥︎
